Course Overview

Pain is a highly personalized experience.  Factors such as physiology, functional status, culturally beliefs and perceptions, and socioeconomic conditions all contribute to the expression and impact of pain.  In this conference,  we will address many of the factors that can complicate pain presentation and treatment.  We will highlight some common pain conditions that have highly variable presentations and the evidence-based best practice to treat them.  We will also offer a systematic Targeted Pain Treatment® approach to identify and treat your patients’ pain in a systematic and effective way, improving function while also reducing opioid use.

This conference is officially endorsed by the Tennessee Pain Society.

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this program, the participants should be able to:

• Identify how unique patient factors can affect both pain presentation and response to treatment options
• Create personalized targeted pain treatment plans that focus on improving function while addressing unique patient needs and presentations
• Review pain conditions and syndromes that contribute to a patient’s pain experience.
  

Registration Fees

Fees include access to online recordings of the 4th Annual Targeted Pain Treatment Conference, program materials, and continuing education credit hours.

How to receive credit

Learners must register for the conference, view all recorded materials, and pass an exit test in order to receive credit.

There is no minimum threshold for financial disclosures; individuals must disclose all financial relationships, regardless of the amount, with ineligible companies within the past 24 months. Individuals must disclose regardless of their view of the relevance of the relationship to the education. Companies that are ineligible to be accredited in the ACCME System (ineligible companies) are those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients.
