MITRP featured in Imaging Technology News

The Molecular Imaging and Translational Research Program and its research on the use of continuous bed motion technology are featured in the popular Imaging Technology News trade magazine. This article focused on recent advancements in PET/CT technology. UTGSM was selected to participate since its facility was the first in the world to have access to continuous bed motion PET technology. This technology is now the MITRP standard of care for PET/CT and is the region's only location to have this technology.


Medical Humanities Series Continues

Medical Humanities is an interdisciplinary program that combines humanities, social sciences, and the arts and their application to the medical field. The purpose of this program is to use the humanities to look at medical practice through a different lens. Lectures are monthly on the third Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. in Morrison's Conference Center.
