Office of Clinical Trials

The Office of Clinical Trials (OCT) at the University of Tennessee Medical Center offers centralized services (budgeting, contracting, recruitment) for industry-sponsored clinical trials. Faculty at the UTHSC COM-Knoxville participate in multiple pharmaceutical and device studies across many disciplines. On a limited basis, the OCT may provide support for investigator-initiated projects. For more information, please see the OCT website.

The OCT conducts studies in all areas of oncology, neurology (Alzheimer’s, stroke, multiple sclerosis, aneurysm), cystic fibrosis, heart failure, renal disease, women’s health, premature birth, and several types of anemia.
