Shane Kelley, MD, Medicine Resident, was selected by the UT Health Science Center College of Medicine Class of 2013 to receive a 2013 Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. This prestigious award signifies the exemplary humanistic qualities, such as empathy, compassion, respect, altruism and integrity, displayed by selected residents when caring for patients and in the presence of others. The award was presented to Dr. Kelley at the Student Clinician's Ceremony at UTHSC in Memphis.
