Closings for holidays will be posted in advance. In the event of inclement weather, the Preston Medical Library follows the policy of the UT Graduate School of Medicine.

After-hours access is available only to personnel and students with a need to access specific reference material for patient care purposes. The following categories are automatically given access; Graduate School of Medicine Residents, GSM students, faculty, and Deans, UT College of Pharmacy students, and UT Medical Center physicians.

Directions from Alcoa Highway/129

Take the Cherokee Trail exit from Alcoa Highway.  Merge into the left lane and proceed straight through the light. Continue with a slight left toward the Fountain Circle.  This is the main entrance to UTMC's Heart Hospital.  Park in Parking Garage 1 - a 6 story parking garage just to the left of the Fountain Circle.  

Once parked, proceed through the entrance to the Heart Hospital.  Proceed straight to the Information Desk, then bear left.  Pass Patient Registration on the right. The library will be located on the left, directly past the Heart Hospital Elevators.

Parking

$3 per day for cars that stay in the parking garage, this is collected upon exit from the garage.
