Division of Urology & Urologic Oncology

Urology is a full service division offering exposure to all aspects of general urology, neurourology, impotence, infertility, prosthetics, pediatrics, trauma, oncology and stones, including extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL). There is particular expertise in urologic oncology, including basic laboratory and clinical research projects.

Faculty

There are five full-time faculty, as well as additional clinical faculty. Approximately 3,000 operative cases are performed annually with 12,000 out-patient visits divided among the emergency department, clinic and private office.

Program Size

The service is staffed by one junior level surgery resident who is responsible for all aspects of patient care and management, with an operative experience commensurate with individual ability.
