Welcome to the Department of Surgery at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. We look forward to having you as part of our team. There are a few things you should know prior to arriving:
- No Tennessee Medical Licensure is required
- Required orientation dates for 2012 will be announced April 2012
- We will need a copy of your USMLE transcript and your Medical School Diploma
- If you are visiting the area plan on stopping by the GME office (CEC Building - 3rd floor) to complete paperwork, drug testing, and be fitted for you lab coats. This will save time on your GME Orientation day.
Items to be completed prior to orientation
- CITI Exam
- AMA Modules on New Innovations (logon and password information will be mailed)
- Sleep Deprivation Module on New Innovations
- Fluoroscopy Exam (logon and password information will be mailed)
- Sedation Exam (logon and password information will be mailed)
- Pain Management Exam (will be mailed)
- Central Line and Foley Catheter Videos on New Innovations
