Application Process

The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency is a four year program with an optional two year MD degree at the conclusion of training.  The Department participates in the Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS).

Candidates should provide PASS with the following:

  • CV/resume
  • Dental School transcripts
  • Institution Evaluation Form
  • Up to three Professional Evaluation Form(s)
  • National Board Exam scores
  • Evaluator Information Form

In addition to the PASS application, applicants should send the following materials directly to:

  • A 2" x 2" photograph
  • Additional letters of recommendation exceeding the required three as deemed appropriate by the applicant

Criteria for application to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program include:

  • Citizenship or permanent residency of the United States or Canada
  • Anticipated graduation from an accredited North American dental school
  • Research experience or postgraduate education
