Dean's Message

James J. Neutens, PhD
James J. Neutens, PhD

It is indeed a delight to read this issue of The Scope honoring several of our best faculty, staff and residents. Those receiving awards at the departmental level and, of course, at the Graduate School of Medicine level are to be congratulated for their superb efforts. These recipients have been chosen by their peers for their excellent work. The selection committees informed me that several people were nominated and that choices were difficult to make – that speaks well for all of the employees in the GSM and bodes well for our future. On behalf of the Dean's Office, congratulations to our honorees and thanks to all of our employees who make the GSM what it is today.
