Dr. Craft Provides Leadership on Anesthesiology Exams
Robert Craft, MD, Vice Chairman, Program Director and Professor of Anesthesiology, was selected as a junior editor for the American Board of Anesthesiology Part 1 Certification Exam and the In-Training Examination. Part 1 of the ABA exam, the written exam, is primarily a test of knowledge given at the end of residency training. It is used to determine whether the candidate has a sufficient fund of information in general medicine and specifically in anesthesiology to be a Board-certified anesthesiologist. The In-Training Examination provides an evaluation of each resident's knowledge and skill during the training period in anesthesiology and allows the resident's supervising physician to tailor future training in specific areas in which the resident needs additional assistance before completing residency and applying for Board certification.
