Surgery Grand Rounds Scheduled for November 2
John A. Kern, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery, Division of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, University of Virginia Health Sciences Center, Charlottesville, VA will present Surgery Grand Rounds. The lecture will be held, Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 7:00 a.m. in the Morrison's Conference Room, UT Medical Center. The title of his lecture will be "Minimally Invasive Lower Extremity Bypass." Everyone is invited to attend.

Grandas to Present Seminar Tuesday, October 17
Oscar Grandas, MD, Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, UTGSM, will present the Research Seminar on Tuesday, October 17. The seminar will be held in the Morrison's Conference Room at noon. The title of Dr. Grandas' lecture will be "Influence of Estrogen Exposure on Smooth Muscle Cell Metalloproteinase Activity." Everyone is invited to attend.
