Business Course Offered for Residents

As part of an on-going Business Course series, The Office of Graduate Medical and Dental Education will offer an informative seminar entitled, "Insurance for Medical and Dental Professionals" on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at noon in Morrison's Conference Center.

The topic of this course is particularly important because protecting against loss is an essential process in any long term plan, but the stakes are high for physicians and dentists. Awareness of potential risks, proactive avoidance of those risks, and the ability to make informed decisions about available insurance options, will be discussed. The course will also cover the fundamentals of disability, life, home and auto, health, long-term care, and liability insurance.
