Jame P. Chen, PhD, Professor Emeritus, Presents Seminar
Tuesday, September 27, at noon in the Morrison's Conference Room at UT Medical Center, James P. Chen, PhD, Professor Emeritus, Department of Medical Genetics, Graduate School of Medicine, will present a seminar. The title of his presentation will be "The Mechanism of Transient Antibody-mediated Hypercoagulability in the Anti-T-Cell Therapy of Renal Transplantation: Role of Complement Fragments and Cytokines." Everyone is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.

Bartges Leads Research Seminar
Joe Bartges, DVM, PhD, Professor of Medicine and Nutrition, College of Veterinary Medicine at the Unveristy of Tennessee, will present a seminar entitled: "Emerging from the Stone Age--Urolithiasis in Animals and People." The seminar will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2005, at noon in the Morrison's Conference Room. Dr. Bartges is also the Acree Endowed Chair of Small Animal Research at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine.

Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at noon the UTGSM Research Seminar will host Robert S. Poston, MD, Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery, University of Maryland Medical Center. Medical Reserve Corps Meets September 6
The first meeting of the Medical Reserve Corps will be held for the University of Tennessee Knoxville Unit of the Medical Reserve Corps on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 6:30 PM, and the meeting will be held in Woods Auditorium at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Matt Mihelic, M.D., UTGSM, anticipates that the meeting will last about one hour.
The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine
