Bukovsky Presents Grand Rounds
Dr. Antonin Bukovksy, Professor, Department of Ob-Gyn, will present Grand Rounds on Friday, April 30, Morrison's Conference Room, from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Dr. Bukovsky presentation is entitled , "Formation of Primary Follicles in Adult Human Ovaries." The story was recently profiled in the UTGSM Scope Newsletter.

Telehealth Network Presentation
Friday, April 30, at 12:30 p.m. EST & 11:30 a.m. CST, the UTGSM Telehealth Network will present, "Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies." The speaker is Melissa A. Kennedy, DVM, PhD., Assistant Professor & Director of Clinical Virology, at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine. Research Seminar Announced
David W. Hollar, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Medical Genetics, UTGSM, will present the next lecture in the UTGSM Research Seminar series. His presentation is entitled "Database Linkages and the Development of an Electronic Child Health Profile in Tennessee." The seminar will be held in Morrison's Conference Room, Tuesday, April 27 at noon. Everyone is invited.

Tuesday, April 20, 2004, will be the next date for a UTGSM Research presentation. Teresa M. Blake, M.S., Genetic Counselor with the UT Developmental & Genetics Center, will present a seminar entitled: "A Review of Common Hereditary Cancer Syndromes." The seminar will be held at noon in the Morrison's Conference Room. Everyone is invited to attend.

"Response to a Foreign Animal Disease Outbreak in Tennessee" will be presented by Robert Linnabary, DVM, MSc, UT College of Veterinary Medicine/LACS, on April 15, 2004 at 12:30 pm. EST; 11:30 a.m. CST, in Morrison's Conference Room. Linnabary is the Emeritus Coordinator, of the Tennessee Disaster Animal Response Team, Tennessee Department of Agriculture.
