TBR Borrowers Cards - Information & Guidelines for UT Graduate School of Medicine Staff & UT Medical Center Leased Employees
Graduate School of Medicine and University of Tennessee Medical Center leased employees are eligible to apply for a TBR/UT Borrowers Card. This card permits checkout of circulating materials at participating Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) and University of Tennessee (UT) libraries in accordance with the lending library's local policies. Borrowers are subject to the rules and regulations of the lending library and are responsible for learning and observing those rules.
Guidelines
Cards issued to UT Graduate School of Medicine Staff & UT Medical Center Leased Employees will be valid for one year and may be renewed as long as the patron remains eligible for this service. Cards must be renewed at the Preston Medical Library. The lending library will not accept a card with an invalid expiration date.
At a participating lending library, the borrower must present a valid TBR/UT Borrowers Card and a photo I.D. when borrowing materials. No other form of identification will be accepted.
Borrowers are responsible for the safe and timely return of materials to the lending library.
Borrowers are responsible for all financial obligations incurred at the lending library. Failure to receive notification does not absolve the borrower of library obligations.
The lending library reserves the right to cancel the privileges of borrowers who fail to follow the policies of the library.
