Entering Text

There are 3 primary ways to enter text into the Palm:

1. "Graffiti" refers to the handwriting recognized by Palms. It is a slight modification of the regular style of writing.
2. The on-screen keyboard is helpful for symbols--it works like a standard keyboard, with different screens for the alphabet, numbers, and international symbols.
3. Auxillary keyboards are available for separate purchase. The Palm is attached to the keyboard, making it easy to put notes directly into the palm.

Another way to get text into the Palm is by typing it on the PC and then syncing. We'll discuss this more later in the tutorial.
