Consumer & Patient Health Information Service (CAPHIS)
The Health Information Library -
Coming soon - in the new University of Tennessee Medical Center's Heart Hospital - a new home for our Consumer and Patient Health Information Service! The "Health Information Library" will be a premier resource center that will provide the patients and families of the medical center and area citizens with consumer-level health information, computers and Internet access as well as the services provided by medical librarians from the Preston Medical Library.
Our services include assisting patients and families of patients in finding information on health-related topics as well as providing printed information by mail to consumers. This is a public education service of the Preston Medical Library, part of the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine.
