Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) Card allows state-wide borrowing of books by students/professors/staff.
"A new advantage for students attending the colleges and universities of the Tennessee Board of Regents and the University of Tennessee is a recently initiated "TBR/UT Borrower's Card." This card, issued by a student's or professor's home institution, authorized the holder to borrow library materials from any library of 29 state institutions of higher education, community colleges to four-year-plus universities."
"How does it work? A person eligible for a TBR/UT Borrowers' Card goes first to the "home" institution's library to apply. The home library officials check the applicant's borrowing record. If there are no delinquencies in the person's name, the applicant receives a card that allows borrowing from any other state-governed academic library."
Preston Medical Library is participating in the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) & University of Tennessee (UT) Libraries reciprocal borrowing agreement. UTGSM and UT Medical Center leased employees can now register for a "TBR/UT Borrowers Card" and borrow books from any participating state institution library. In return, the Preston Medical Library will loan books to staff or students from participating state institutions.
