Computer and Copying Resources
Reference Computers
Preston Medical Library has computers with high speed internet access available for all library users. Individual pod computers are available, as well as a training room equipped with computer stations. The library staff will provide orientation and education in the use of our electronic databases and other resources.
Computer Training Lab
The Computer Training Lab has 14 computers, a podium with teaching computer, a ceiling mounted projector, and a whiteboard wall. The training lab may be scheduled for classes by calling or filling out the online form. Software includes Microsoft Office applications.
Computers Available for Checkout
Laptop computers and LCD Projectors are available for checkout. This equipment circulates to UTHSC COM-Knoxville and UTMC team members only.
Copy Services
There are two self-service printer/copier/scanners located in the library. The one located in the Health Information Center is also enabled for outbound faxing. Use of these services is free.
Wireless Access
The library has wireless access to the Internet provided by the hospital. Check out our Mobile Resources LibGuide for resources available for these devices.

In conjunction with the Human-Animal Bond in Tennessee (H.A.B.I.T.), the library hosts canine assisted stress-reduction visits twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesday from noon-1:00 p.m.
