Knoxville Area Health Sciences Library Consortium's (KAHSLC) mission is to promote better communication, sharing of resources, and continuing education among health sciences librarians in the Knoxville area.
Members, who come from academic, public, and special libraries, meet at least four times per year.

AltMetrics: Peter Fernandez did a formal presentation on systems of and helpful resources for determining the value of scholarship, and Lisa Travis did a brief demo of two additional resources.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to libraries with a health sciences focus. Libraries may be affiliated with hospitals, research institutions, health-related schools, or government agencies. Member institutions are represented by one or more delegates who cast vote(s) at meetings. An institution must have delegates present at two meetings before the institution is considered a full member of KAHSLC.
