You Can Make a Difference.
Thanks to generous contributions and grants, Preston Medical Library
is able to provide many additional services and resources such as
new equipment for access and instruction, electronic resources, and
educational opportunities.

A history of gifts to the library are listed below:
2007 - Dialysis Clinics Incorporated contributed $20,000 to update textbooks, purchase journal subscriptions and Up-To-Date, a clinical information database.
1995 - Dialysis Clinics Incorporated contributed $50,000 to the
library development fund to enrich the nephrology-related resources
and set up a section honoring Dr. Roland Regester.
2003 -Dialysis Clinics Incorporated agreed to contribute $25,000.00
for nephrology resources including textbooks, journals and databases
each year.
2004 - A $10,000.00 gift was made for continuing the support of
nephrology related journals, and databases
2007- a $20,000.00 gift was made to support the purchase of textbooks,
journals and databases.
Additional gift-funded services. The Consumer
and Patient Health Information Service provides health information
as a free public service to consumers. Gift funds help cover the
cost of materials, mailing, and consumer health information books.
The Joellen S. Fordham Conference Room. Thanks
to the generosity of Lynn and Joellen Fordham the library's conference
room was renovated to provide an integrated multimedia learning
center with state of the art presentation and teleconferencing capabilities.
