Preston Medical Library Gift Funds
Online
giving through the University
of Tennessee System's Development Office is now available. Choose
the Preston Medical Library Gift Fund and follow the instructions.
UT Medical Center is more than a hospital. It is a teaching hospital. . . the
only one in East Tennessee. Since our founding in 1956, nearly 1,500
physicians have completed their medical training through the Graduate
School of Medicine and the majority have stayed to practice in the
region.
A crucial part of any teaching hospital is it's library. The Preston Medical Library & Learning Resource Center serves the needs of UT Graduate School of Medicine's faculty, physicians, nursing staff, residents, medical students and patients. In addition, the Preston Medical Library is a regional referral center for other area hospitals, health professionals, corporations, and individuals seeking access to the latest medical information.
Your charitable gift to the Preston Medical Library Gift Fund and/or the Frank
London Medical Library Endowment will provide funds necessary for
books, journals, and other educational materials, equipment and
facilities with which to better serve the people of East Tennessee.
Ask about the library's adopt-a-journal
program.
All contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law and
qualify toward membership in University of Tennessee gift recognition
clubs or societies. For more information, please ask a librarian
or call the UT
Medical Center Office of Development at (865) 305-6111.
