Preston Medical Library & Learning Resource
Center
Preston Medical Library provides exceptional reference, research,
and instruction for UT Graduate School of Medicine (UTGSM) faculty,
residents, students, and physicians, and outreach to the community.
The library is committed to ensuring access to clinical information
(Mission and vision).
Preston Medical Library is staffed Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. UT Graduate School of Medicine (UTGSM) and University
of Tennessee Medical Center staff have 24-hour access to the library
with a valid identification badge. The library is open to everyone
during staffed hours.
The first floor of the facility contains the following
areas:
Reference/Information Desk
Library Director's Office
Interlibrary Loan Office
Computer Workstations
Current Periodicals
Computer Laboratory
Joellen S. Fordham Conference Room
Computer Training Laboratory
Professor's Lounge
Staff Room
You can take a virtual tour or stop by the library for orientation.
The ground floor of the library is the "stacks"
area. The book section is located to the right of the elevator.
The periodicals are located in alphabetical order with the "A's"
beginning at the left of the elevator.
