Jon S. Parham, D.O., MPH
Associate Professor
Dr. Parham earned his osteopathic medical degree from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by eight years of general practice, occupational medicine and emergency medicine in Port Huron, Michigan. Pursing an interest in clinical preventive medicine, he then completed a Masters of Public Health from Boston University and residencies in Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Parham returned to his native Tennessee in 1996 to join the family medicine faculty. In addition to his work with family medicine residents, Dr. Parham is the department’s pre-doctoral director and osteopathic DME. His academic interests include immunizations, geriatric wellness, STDs and research.
