Jon S. Parham, D.O., M.P.H.
Associate Professor
Dr. Jon Parham received his osteopathic medicine degree from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following an internship at Mt. Clemens General Hospital near Detroit, Dr. Parham practiced general medicine in Lexington, Michigan for eight years. Pursuing his interest in preventive medicine, he earned a master of public health degree from Boston University in 1990 and completed residencies in preventive medicine and family practice at the University of South Carolina. He is board certified in both preventive medicine and family practice.
Dr. Parham serves as the department's pre-doctoral director coordinating all medical student rotations and is chairman of the department's research committee.
