Ronald H. Lands, MD
Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine
Ronald Lands received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis, TN. He completed an internal medicine residency and a hematology oncology fellowship there, and was in the private practice of hematology and oncology for twenty years before coming to UT to be the Fellowship Director for the Family Medicine Geriatric Fellowship. His professional interests include benign hematology and medical oncology in the elderly, palliative medicine, and the importance of narrative in the physician-patient relationship.
