Amy J. Keenum, Pharm.D., D.O.
Dr. Keenum completed a Family Medicine Residency in Asheville, North Carolina, in 1996 after prior residency training in emergency medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated form Michigan State University where studies included tropical medicine and three months of medical rotations in Africa. She worked as a clinical pharmacist for nine years before osteopathic medical school. Areas of interest include rural emergency medicine, back pain, pharmacotherapy, quality assurance and medical ethics. She joined the Family Practice Residency Program in Knoxville in August 2000. Dr. Keenum is the Emergency Medicine Fellowship director.
