Daniel E. Brewer, M.D.
Dr. Daniel Brewer is a graduate of Bowman-Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem, North Carolina and completed his family medicine residency at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. He practiced two years in Shelby, North Carolina, after which he returned to his home state of Tennessee. Following five years of practice in Maryville, he accepted a position as assistant director of the Family Medicine Residency in Anderson, South Carolina and while there, completed a fellowship in faculty development at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In July 1996, he joined the Knoxville program. Dr. Brewer is director of postdoctoral education. Special interests include geriatrics, preventive cardiology and clinical epidemiology.
