Registration Information: Due to the overwhelming response to this conference, we are at capacity and cannot take any "walk-in" registrations.

Credits available from AMA, AAFP, AAPA, ACPE and ANCC COA, and CEUs available.

This second annual conference updates attendees on up-to-date information about managing diabetes and using a team approach to help patients fight the disease. The D Team, comprised of physician, nurse, physician assistant, health educator, dietitian and patient, is a powerful force that can change lives.

At the conclusion of this conference, participants should be able to change their practices by using knowledge of

  • Current clinical practice recommendations from the American Diabetes Association
  • Solutions to difficult problems of blood glucose management using multiple insulin regimens
  • Drugs released in 2005-2006 for use in treatment of diabetes
  • State, federal and private resources to assist patients who cannot purchase needed medication
  • Practical, doable dietary advice for patients
