Recent updates to the guidelines for management of acute ischemic stroke include expansion of the endovascular management of stroke caused by large vessel occlusion, cardiovascular risk factors, and development of stroke systems of care. The Tenth Annual Stroke Symposium will focus on these updated guidelines as well as secondary prevention of stroke for patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation, vascular cognitive impairment, cryptogenic stroke, and endocarditis.
