The Big 4 Cancer Conference for 2024 aims to address four key practice-based challenges in cancer care. Firstly, the conference will tackle gaps in the surgical management of solid organ cancer, aiming to streamline multidisciplinary care and ensure timely treatment. Secondly, it will focus on current systemic therapies for hematologic malignancies, shedding light on recent advancements and the importance of early referrals to cellular therapy teams. The third topic will delve into managing the side effects of systemic therapy, aiming to standardize practices and improve the quality of life for patients. Lastly, the conference will explore the role of radiation oncology, emphasizing standard protocols while discussing exceptions and creative approaches in cancer treatment. These topics aim to equip learners with a better understanding of best practices, current technologies, and resources for optimal cancer care in the region.

Continuing Education Information - The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Successful completion of this knowledge-based activity will provide a statement for 10 contact hours (Day 1 = 6.75 hours, Day 2 = 3.25 hours) of credit (1.0 CEU) and will be available within 48 hours of activity completion.
