The Office of Business anf Finance serves the faculty and staff for all Graduate School of Medicine business issues. This includes federal and state support for educational endeavors, all research grant activities as well as the daily business operations.
Deborah Strahler, BA

Ms. Strahler is a native of Ohio. She received her B.A. degree from University of Illinois Springfield majoring in accounting. She has worked in the accounting field more than thirty years in private and public sectors. Prior to joining the Graduate School of Medicine in April 2012, Deb worked as the Director of Accounting for the Department Mental Health, Lakeshore Mental Health Institute. Deb works with the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration as grant research accountant.
Kristen Bass, MS

Kristen Bass is from Seymour, Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Science degree in Applied Educational Psychology. Prior to coming to the Graduate School of Medicine, Kristen was a graduate assistant in the Institute for Public Service. In our office she is responsible for invoice payment, travel entry, contract management, and purchasing.
