The Office of Human Subject Protections strives to foster the ethical conduct of human subject research by providing:

  • Education and certification programs for all key research personnel
  • Guidance for researchers pertaining to specific human subject research issues
  • Provision of information and resource materials related to human subject research

Staff

William H. Wallace, Jr., JD
Research Compliance Officer

Mr. Wallace comes to the UT Graduate School of Medicine after 13 years in the private practice of law. His primary areas of concentration were civil, criminal and juvenile trial law. He is licensed to practice law in the States of Tennessee and Texas. In his spare time he enjoys snow skiing, hiking, fishing and reading.

 

Cindy Langley, RN, CCRP
Research Associate

Ms. Langley has served as a clinical trials coordinator for many multi-center studies, as a patient and family educator, and as a nurse with experience in dialysis care, coronary care, and neurointensive care.  In addition to her research and clinical experience, she has recently become a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP).
